There is an international airport in Abruzzo (www.abruzzo-airport.it). The port of Ortona is located 25 km away from the latter. There is a number of different types of public and private transport connecting Abruzzo International Airport and the center of Pescara.

From the Railway station of Pescara it is possible to reach the port of Ortona by numerous local trains (www.ferroviedellostato.it)

Arriving from the highway take an exit to Casello Ortona (www.autostrade.it). The direct connection with the port of Ortona is still under construction, that once finished will substantially facilitate the way of reaching the port of Ortona.
